Controlling electricity consumption

A contract that involves direct or indirect control of the electricity user's electricity consumption.

Direct control may mean that consumption is increased or decreased without the electricity user having to take any action. Indirect control may mean that the electricity user receives a signal to reduce or increase electricity consumption. The signal can be communicated to the electricity user through a message via an app, to a mobile phone, or other communication tool.
